Flipping through the TV channels at seven p.m. today it became quite obvious how the western media can manipulate what is news. All the major networks had live coverage of the awaited "royal birth" in the UK, as if that is the second coming. Only Al Jazeera managed to show something else - the developments in Egypt and CNC showed the aftermath of the earthquake in China. It is moments like this that I am glad we have the Internet so we can choose what news is important enough to read.
