Flood warnings and winter weather cant stop our volunteers! They - TopicsExpress

Flood warnings and winter weather cant stop our volunteers! They were out all day and evening transporting our displaced pets, and reuniting families! (Thank you Mary M., Ann W., and Mary K.) Our first reunion of the day was Cody! Cody was displaced by a fire in Philly SIX months ago. Her owner had a looong, hard road to recovery! She thought several times that she was ready to take Cody back, but then something always seem to fall through. She never gave up on Cody though, and last week we got a call saying she had finally found a place, and today they are back together again!! Our second reunion of the day was one near and dear to all of us, and there wasnt a dry eye in the place!! After a tragic fire that sadly killed a 4yo child on W.Wyoming St in November, in #Philly; Layla, Sparky and Midnight are home tonight! The family was so grateful and happy to have them home, and we were so happy to have been able to do our small part to help the family recover and try to move on from what they have been through! #whywedowhatwedo A huge thank you to all of our fosters! These reunions would not have been possible without Codys amazing foster, Rosemary L., who gave Cody a loving home for the last six months, and Layla, Sparky and Midnights fosters, Chris K., and Meara L., who helped us keep them safe and cared for until their family could recover!
