Flooding in Inverclyde What a mess this morning. Floods everywhere and roads closed. West Station bad, Pottery St bad, IBM road bad. The Gibby gridlocked. Dougliehill Rd open but starting to get busy. The Kilmacolm Rd has road closed signs before the cemetery but you go through them and you can get to the Dougliehill Rd end. Trains off as well. Big crowd standing at Port Station. No busses being able to get through to pick the folk up. We will be sending our orders out a wee bit later to miss the rush hour daft stuff. We wont open Gourock today either. So if any Gourock customers require anything we can deliver to your door later in the day (hopefully). In fact anywhere in Inverclyde - if you decide its a day for the house just give us a ring and well send an order out to you - he writes hopefully. What a place we live in! How much was it the Council are/were spending on flood defences and remedies? The consultants cost a fortune if I remember right. Why did we get rid of the gully motors? Ach Im away on a rant now!
