Floods & Storms...He is GREATER! Our hearts go out to those who have been affected by the flooding and storms in the Midwest. Many were stranded, crops were lost and lives threatened. We especially pray for those affected by the double tornado in Pilger, NE. Lord, have mercy! As a staff we met for a time of worship & prayer and the lyrics to this song really hit home: “He is jealous for me, Loves like a hurricane, I am a tree, Bending beneath the weight of His wind and mercy... We are His portion and He is our prize Drawn to redemption by the grace in His eyes If grace is an ocean, we’re all sinking...” If you witnessed first-hand with your own eyes the height of the storms, then you witnessed great power. Now reread the lyrics...and realize this: Our Savior, Jesus Christ, and HIS great power, majesty, grace and mercy is GREATER! Oh how He loves us! We can only imagine just how much!! We are praying for each and every one of you affected by the storms. May you feel His great love, peace and power in your life today.
