Florida Attorneys: As you may or may not know, I am a member of the Fla. Bars Animal Law Committee. We are trying to obtain what is called section status where we would be an official section of the Fla. Bar (such as Criminal Law, Family Law, etc.) This would enable us to help animals much more effectively. To reach section status, we need to get 900 members of the Florida Bar to sign the petition at the link below (I think it took me all of 2 seconds to sign petition.) Do you know any person who is licensed to practice law in Florida (they do not need to reside in FL -- just be a member of the Fla. Bar)? They do not need to practice in the area of animal law -- just have an interest in it. If you know of ANYONE who qualifies (ie, member of Fla.
