Florida State will be in the playoffs following this victory over Ga Tech. That there is any question about one loss teams like TCU, Baylor and Ohio State leapfrogging or keeping them out the playoffs defies logic to me. That said, I am looking forward to seeing if the committee keeps FSU at #4 to set up a date in the semifinals vs Alabama. For the past two years I have noticed that some of the most die hard Noles on my timeline either were ecstatic when Auburn beat Alabama last year, or this year, have prayed hard for Alabama to stumble. Such strikes me as curious considering how much said Noles believe that they are world beaters. True world beaters would want to take on the best competition I thought, not TCU, Baylor or Oregon from the WacK 12 (not Pac-12). So it is gonna be a long night for the Nole Nation, but Hobbs wants yall to get into the playoffs and see what happens next.
