Flowers TV - A new entertainment channel soon from Kochi Flowers TV is a new Malayalam satellite entertainment channel from the house of Insight Media City, Indias first media city. The project conceptualized by prominent media personality R Sreekandan Nair has a team of established business people on its director board. The media city, said to be only the third of its kind in the world, is coming up in 27 acres of land in the serene village of Maneed in Cochin. The Rs 500 crore project will have 14 ventures, of which an international school of media will be the major highlight. The global media school is expected to be operational in September 2015. It will house the largest studio complex for television production in southern India spreading over 150,000 sq. feet and an amphitheater and performance arena with a seating capacity of 6,000.
