Pillars of this new theory will have to be centred on (without limitation): Education, Economy, Empowerment, Employment and Entrepreneurship. As this generation, we have resolved to formulate a new and relevant programme of action, premised on a clear vision for the next 30 years”. The above quote of the ZNTT is utter nonsense and deliberate effort to distort the struggle for Economic Freedom into meaninglessness and shifting of goal posts by 30 years. Which generation is the ZNTT speaking about, because the generation of Youth Activists who gathered for the ANC Youth League in what was the biggest delegated Congress in the Congress Movement spoke about real transfer of wealth and economic power through nationalisation of Mines and expropriation of land without compensation. These continued distortions of Economic Freedom in Our Lifetime further justify the need to discuss whether the ANC is a vehicle to carry forward the struggle for economic freedom in our lifetime. This is an ideological and political battle and selling out the determination of this generation will never be allowed to happen. The people of South Africa, the militant and radical youth will guide Freedom Fighters on the question of WHAT IS TO BE DONE? The ZNTT should in the meantime stay away from ideological and political caricature of the struggle for Economic Freedom in Our Lifetime and focus on defending the right-wing, neo-liberal and capitalist National Development Plan (NDP), because that is what they are for.
