Fly Repellent Plants and Flowers Has anyone had experience with Apple of Peru - also known as Shoo Fly - it is totally poisonous and potentially invasive - thinking of growing it in large tubs to kill off the flies. As soon as we get our normal rain back flies breed up in long grass particularly where animals and poultry and kept.
