Flying home from Burbank on Monday we were trying to prepare Moriah for when she would need to put her baby doll through the luggage scanners at the security check point. As the TSA lady was looking at our ID’s we were pointing to the people putting their shoes and bags through the scanners. “See how all those people are putting their things through those machines? Pretty soon we’re going to put baby up there to go through too, and we’ll get her on the other side.” Moriah wasn’t too excited about it so we kept trying to talk her through it. Finally the the TSA lady looked up at Heidi who was holding Aravis and said, “You guys are terrible. Don’t tell your daughter that you’re going to stick her little sister through those luggage scanners!” Guess we needed to be more clear that we were talking about a doll and not our infant child.
