She was promoting that the Federal Government should be involved in legislation and technology. [Fascism - no surprise from Claire] Yes, RoboCalls are a pain in the Gluteus Maximus. But technology exists. Most people, I assume, simply block calls from numbers that are blocked. I do not spend the coin on Caller ID. BUT - there is a motive. Under the Radar, there is a ubiquitous push for a National ID, in any form they can promote it. This concept PREFERS you to use a cell phone, because tracking is inherent. You cannot NOT be tracked on a cell phone. So, there is less incentive to make your land line less offensive.
