Flying out to Cali tomorrow morning for the 4th workshop of my play Sunrise Highway. The most personal play Ive written, and the most tied to Long Island, it strikes me that its taken me farther from home than any other play - into 3 states out of NY - all in pursuit of making people and places I know in my marrow clearly and honestly wrought.
