Flüchtlingstragödien vor den Toren der Festung Europa: Die Internationale Organisation für Migration (IOM) hat am Montag von weiteren Flüchtlingstragödien im Mittelmeer berichtet - mit möglicherweise Hunderten Toten. Die IOM hat derzeit zahlreiche Krisen zu bewältigen. Ein Überblick: Iraq - Over 1.7 million individuals have been displaced in 1,634 locations across Iraq since the beginning of 2014, as of 3 September, 2014 South Sudan - 62,809 refugees (Leitchour 47,122, Matar 7,581, Nip Nip 2,854, Pamdong 2,452 and Pagak 2,800) need to be relocated to new camps. Syria - IOM reached over 22,200 displaced and affected individuals in six governorates through the provision of Non-Food Items (NFIs). CAR - 2,000 new IDPs were registered by IOM in Kabo and Moyen Sido as a result of displacement from clashes in Batangafo and surrounding areas. Ethiopia - Since the beginning of August, IOM has relocated a total of 7,543 refugees from Akobo, Burbiey, Matar, Pamdong by bus, air and boats to way stations and camps. Libya - The ongoing conflict has forced thousands of families to leave their homes and move to safer areas inside and beyond Tripoli.
