Focusing on Gods peace this morning....got locked out of my house...tried to climb through window but huge wasp nes was in the way, took a deep breath and told myself I refused to give up my peace....walked around for about five minutes and thought Ill just drive to Scotts office and get his keys or call him to come by and let me in....discovered purse was in car and car was locked....kept breathing and asking God for His peace....five minutes later recall a key I hid outside years ago...just popped in my mind out of the blue...(and trust me when I say my memory is about as short term as you can get) When I came inside I sat down and prayed and thanked God for the simple reason of getting into my house---but more importantly He spoke to my heart and said See,Cindy, when you keep your peace and trust in Me I am with you-even in the smallest of things. He knows I am seeking the wisdom of His peace and I believe He used this very simple illustration on this Monday morning to point out to me that lots of things will try to get me OUT of His peace but when I fully allow Him into all situations HIS peace can not be discouraged,denied,deceived,destroyed by anything in this world. And because everything in our lives in important to Him, because He is our Father and He loves us, He promises to give us enough strength to handle anything that comes our way....from losing my keys to losing my son....I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. ...I pray you have a peaceful Monday-but no matter what you are dealing with or going through know Your Heavenly Father loves you and He desires for you to know HIS PERFECT PEACE....Love in Christ-cbk
