Folarin And His Do Or Die Politics As the race to the 2015 governorship election begins,various aspirants have been scheming to ensure victory in their respective political parties.Different political tactics would be employed by different aspirants in their quest to emerge as their partys flagbearer. In an ideal democracy,only legal and constitutional style of politicking are practised in order no to overheat the polity. In Oyo State,Senator Folarins ambition to become the governor has been nurtured with violence.Information at our disposal reveals that Sen. Folarin has concluded plans to eliminate some PDP local government party chairmen who are not willing to support his aspiration of becoming the state number one man.Many LG party chairmen we learnt are not in support of his aspiration because hes not selleable and it is believed that his emergence will spell doom for the party at the poll.Having known this fact,he has set machinery in motion to intimidate,harrass and possibly get rid of those chairmen who may want to go against his inordinate ambition.The state party chairman is also not spared from this planned attack. Ordinarilly,no one should have raised any alarm on hearing this nefarious plan by Folarin,but the killing of Eleweomo was on similar circumstance. Late Eleweomo was killed during the build up to the 2011 PDP primaries in Oyo state.And justice has not been done since his demise.His assailants are now moving around as free men.We hope and we pray that God almighty shall expose them soonest. We call on the Inspector General of Police and the Oyo State Commisioner of Police to call this vampire to order before it is too late. Crime escalates because culprits are not being punished.
