Folding tables are very popular household furniture items in Hong Kong as they can be folded away when not in use. However, most folding tables in the market are rather utilitarian and unattractive. They are also not convenient to move around, nor do they cater for computer uses (nowhere for wires to go). To address these concerns, this folding table, trimmed with a “cloudy” border, resembles a fat woolly sheep. The head of a sheep is an openable panel, which allows wires or cables to come through, while its hoofs are actually casters added to legs. These turn a conventional folding table into a piece of artwork that brings fun, humour and practicality to homes.
