Folk need to stop falling into the sideswipe trap of this media perpetrated Generational Divide BS. This Movement has been for all ages from the jump and has been going on since before folk got marched from the docks to the auction block. Always been Tactical Divides though between our wait-and-see Accomodationists and our Freedom NowAgitators, our hellbent Reformers and our heaven sent Radical-Change agents. MLK didnt even have the support of his own Atlanta church-based leadership in the beginning. Constructive dialogue and debate is healthy though and History shows theres a part for all to play--the Movement value of which it usually takes decades to sort out. Bottom line: On the ground Movement of ANY kind beats Apathy and lobbing from the sidelines every time
