Folks, Here is my Sunday train options for this week Two(2) options this week again: Option 1: 15km to 20km at 5-30AM from under Captain Cook Bridge.(Enter via Dock St). Option 2: 15km to 42km, from Canungra: The logistics of organising this run are challenging, so please read the following carefully: -We start from near the toilet block in Canungra at 6AM: -We meet at No 35 Herrick st, Mt Gravatt, at 5AM to car pool for the drive to Canunga. -If you wish to make your own way to Canungra, please do, as it will ease the pressure on the car pool. -The course is from Canungra, to the Beechmont roundabout, and then turn left towards Nerang. -The big hill starts at about the 6km mark. -The top of the hill is at about the 12km mark -The roundabout is at about 16km. -The toilets/Hang glider launch pad is at about 19km -The turn is at about 21.3km on your garmin, which is somewhere near the old community hall(painted yellow). -We will have at least 2 support vehicles, one for the faster runners, and one for the not so fast runners, and these vehicles will move ahead stopping every 3 to 4km -Please place what ever you need in the appropriate vehicle, as later the vehicles will separate, as the space between runners increases. -Everybody will be running some distance, so we will have no non-running drivers, so those planning on doing 21km or less,so please organise yourselves, so that we have somebody to drive each vehicle. Andy is co-ordinating this so please talk to him. -My VW van will also have some additional water and Sports drink on board.(I won’t be with you, as I’ll be in Melbourne, so somebody else will need to bring the frozen watermelon for the finish. Don’t have too much fun without me.
