Folks... I received some disturbing news this morning - apparently the corpse of a homeless man was discovered right here in a wooded area here on the outskirts of Burlington, Vermont... and it hit me hard; the report stated that the body had been lying there for a while, but no one noticed even though it was near a frequently used bike path as it was covered by the dense leaf cover and only recently uncovered by the winds ushering in this cold front in the last few days... NO ONE NOTICED that he was missing, either. It brings to mind gratitude especially approaching Thanksgiving - because I was once homeless with roof for nearly 2 yrs... living out of my Van for the last 4 months of it. It was only arrested by a strange meeting of an old Fling where that man had proposed to me and I had refused 7 yrs before... He invited me to come home with him, live with him and we rekindled that old Flame - and the rest is History; That man is my Daddy-Bear or Husbear, and there is no one who can compare or compete with him in my heart. The story of that meeting I posted on Dec 26, 2011 here on Facebook. So in the Spirit of Thanksgiving and Extreme Gratitude to God and my Lord, His Son, Jesus Christ, for providing us for each other, I am reposting this from December 26, 2011, folks: REPOSTING THIS FROM DEC 26: This one is special to me, folks... this song was playing on whatever my van radio was tuned to when we met again Nov 29th 2003, down on the highway pull-off... I ended up pulling my van up besides his, and shutting my engine off and getting out, heard the same song playing on his van radio. Thats when he told me as he did a month earlier when we met up then, that he remembered me from 7 yrs bef...ore... and that hed proposed to me back then... and that his feelings were still there in the background waiting to be rekindled... and as the song ended, being the Brilliiant Theatric Bear he liked to pretend he was... he pointed at the radio and said Im no Angel, you know... and I said Well, neither am I... and he finished my words with me but neither are you...
