Folks I will be walking in 10 weeks so you still have time to help me reach my goal of 6 grand raised this year. I just received a 400.00 donation and that put me just over 5 grand. I know that there are some of you out there that have told me that you wanted to make a donation this year and I should remind you. I am reminding you and asking you to make it while it is fresh on your mind and not wait. I will send out letters again one last time when I have the address to send me cards and letters at camp. Last year I received a few more then the year before, but I would like to have so many letters and cards that I have something each night to read and know that you are thinking of me. This will be my tenth walk and this one has special meaning to me. I never thought that I could walk one 60 mile walk let alone raise the money that I needed to walk that first year in 2007. I surpassed an amount that year that I could have only dreamed about and that amount was $12054.00. Since then I have raised over $65,000.00 and I am still going strong. I found a passion in me that has never ceased and I am just as thrilled to walk into Opening Ceremonies on my tenth walk as I was on my first in Atlanta, GA. I walked that year with 16 amazing women and lost one of them almost three years ago to this same disease. I ask for each of you to make a donation of $1.00 for each mile which would be a $60.00 donation, but if that is not in your budget make what is meaningful for you.
