Folks, after 5 great kids and 24 years of marriage, I need to share that we are in a very dark and sad place. Its call SOCK HELL. Sock Hell permeates our floors, closets, drawers, and under beds. The road to Sock Hell is paved with good intentions: first its mismatched khaki socks, then a khaki and chocolate brown, then a khaki and black. Before you know it, its a full sock/half socklet in white just to get out of the house, being a hypocrite covering your July legs with varying lengths of sock commitment. Stealing socks, stretching others socks, going with no socks, finally the socks of lawlessness and compromise after compromise. You sweep. You find a sock. Hope creeps in! Too bad, you through that other sock out on Monday; the first Monday in January. We all need to pray to reverse the culture of sock corruption and compromised before we all get hosed.
