Folks how does this sound a bone in ham a good store bought one you know a Christmas dinner Ham and maybe 2-3 lbs of thick sliced pork belly Bacon...plus 4 game hens and 2 whole big hens and and a shoulder roast bone in...Slow cooked to perfection meat falling off the bone and for the last 20 mins of the cook I use my backwoods mud sauce on what it needs to go one as not to burn the sauce...Now over on the open pit Ive pinto beans cooking with wild onions and garlic freshly dug that day for the cook and the pone bread cooking plus frying some fried cornbread to...To go with the gravy that Ill fix from some of the drippings...now that sounds like a wonderful meal that I can serve 2 ways straight or in a scalloped potatoes recipe but I can say this either way is out of this world!
