Folks who have asked me why Legardo isnt already broken in and being worked seeing as he is nearly 3..... This image and description is probably the easiest way to get the message across..... I am looking at the longevity of the horses I breed and wanting to ensure that they are as sound as possible for their entire lives. :D So - NO - I will not be having him backed yet - he has had four lessons with the saddle on and 10 mins lunge work at those times - and is now turned back out to grow for a while longer. Clevies are a slow growing breed of horse - however they will give you their all and then some!!!!
