Follow God “Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;” Ephesians 5:1 KJV Paul in the scripture above was admonishing the Ephesian Christians and what he said is so simple that if care is not taken, you will waive it off, yet it is a foundational truth that is very relevant to the church today. Paul said to the Ephesian Christians: follow God. But who else will they follow? You may be tempted to ask, after all they are already born again. It seems logical to naturally follow God as a Christian but the Apostle Paul was conscious of the many things out there that can distract the believer. If there were things that could distract then, how much more now. Believers today face more things than any other time in history and the truth is that, it will keep getting worse until Jesus comes. If a President will say that, how much more you. I implore you: follow God. No matter the demand on your time, prioritize God. Put God first; put your prayer and bible study time first. Never get too busy to pray because when you pray, you receive directions that save you time. Then you wont be beating around the bush, rather you will be right on time all the time.
