Follow the journey #2 Why we are building with Bush and Beach again…… Finding the right block – “Location, location, location” For us the most important aspect when thinking of building our new home, before any design work could even start, was to find the right block of land. We needed to find a site to meet our current and future needs but also fit in with our plan to downsize and move to within walking distance of local amenities. Inevitably there were compromises made along the way. The site we have chosen is in an established street, really close to a small Sunshine Coast town with land that was originally sub divided in 1895. However it is a narrow, sloping block which is only 11m wide by 43m long with a 4m fall down the length of the block with 2 existing properties & 3 very large trees in close proximity. We are confident that the constraints of this block plus our long wish list of requirements will all to be dealt with in the design – so over to Annika, Bush and Beach Homes brilliant designer
