Right now the price of fuel in Albion Park, 104km South of Sydney is $0.99 per litre while at Wyoming, 78km, North of Sydney the same fuel costs $1.17 per litre. This means if you’re filling up a 50 litre tank it will cost you almost $10 more just because we live on the Central Coast. This means per tanker here on the Central Coast we are being gauged $8,778. Following my letter last month to the Australian Consumer and Competition Commission, yesterday they announced they would investigate the price of petrol in three regional markets.
