Follow-up: Saw the Drs. today at UNC. Had a CT Scan to verify that no other areas in my chest were compromised -- all clear! Met with Radiologist and I will have radiation treatments prior to removal of tumor (5 days a week for approx. 5 weeks). As great as the UNC Dr. is, Were trying to have the treatments in Raleigh and save 50 miles a day in gas and time (and convenience). This drama will carry over to next year with recovery, etc. Lord give me patience and the strength to deal with this! Thank you God for all of the praying friends -- we are overwhelmed and our hearts are touched beyond we could have imagined. May God bless each of you!
