Following Linda Attewells post below, lets put the Old Farts and Fogies muscle to good use. Linda complained about wheelchair access while others mentioned poor surfaces and dropped kerbs in the town centre. As a result, Ive created the spreadsheet below to make a record of the town centre areas that people see as a particular problem. Note that Fair Access to Colchester fa2c.org is already campaigning in this area and FA2C should be your group of choice if you feel strongly about these issues. This post is an attempt to publicise FA2C and to harness COFFs potential. The aim with this spreadsheet is to create a list over the next month (the deadline is August 7) then present it to Colchester Deputy Mayor Theresa Higgins, who has experience of accessibility issues. You then click in the next cell and type. There is no need to Save as this is done automatically. Ive also added the first entry — using the alias Stan Wayman (geddit?) — as an example.
