Following a CCA Council meeting last Thursday, the Chairman, Keith Coburn released this letter to the CCA clubs. KEITH COBURN, 26 CYPRUS ROAD, CAMBRIDGE, CB1 3QA 0775 2241488 To all Council Members & Member Clubs: Following the Players and Club Surveys that we’re carried out last year, the Association will be introducing a T20 League to be played on Saturday’s in 2015. This will be open to any team currently playing in the Junior League. The new league will be the “Minor League T20”, of which the clubs currently in the Minor League who wish to continue to play the 40 over format will be integrated into the Junior League at the appropriate level. A club may enter more than one team if they so wish, but all teams will be subject to the rule regarding the Eligibility of Players. To clarify, only three players can play for a team providing they have not played in the TWO completed matches for the team that is not placed immediately higher than the team he or she plays for. The matches will start at 2pm, and teas will not be required, unless the two Clubs wish. It would be good if fielding circles could be introduced, but the Association will not be pressing this at present. This League will not affect the Walker T20 Cup, which will continue for both Senior and Junior League Clubs on Sunday’s. If you have any queries or questions please contact me by phone on 0775 2241488 before Friday 22nd August, as we are looking to dispatch the League Entry Forms on Monday 25th August. Keith Coburn
