Following a show on Netflix that reminds me of some of the past.When a family loses a child, the devastation is hard to quantify.One of the saddest true stories I know is that of a young man who was one of two children.When his sibling was killed, his parents could not look at him without being overcome with grief in thinking of the other child.They grew apart in their grief and eventually divorced.In the process, he was abandoned and on his own at the age of 13 or 14 (my memory fails).He ends up in jail through some bad choices......I have heard that things are better now, but overall sad nonetheless. ....If you are privy to someone enduring such pain please pray for healing & endurance.I know I will because I failed this young man when he could have used a friend.I pray for him now, never too late to do the right thing.
