Following in the steps of my friend, Sally Jones... 10 things you might not know about me... 1. I used to break into abandoned houses with my school friends when I was eight years old. 2. I took piano lessons for nine years but can barely plunk out a tune. And I have a piano. 3. I was a news host for our local NPR affiliate. 4. I also love Brussels sprouts... And turnips. 5. I had a student who was chased down, tackled, and arrested by the Sheriffs Department on a field trip. That was a long day... 6. I would love to retire in Marrakesh or on a beach in Thailand. 7. I am double-jointed in all 10 of my fingers- didnt help with the piano much. 8. My heros growing up were Jacques Cousteau and Jim Henson. 9. I sleep-walk, and one time I walked out of my house in my skivvies. Thank God nobody saw me and the door didnt lock! 10. I tried to join a park-league hockey team once... See piano. And Sally...
