Following my gut instinct while driving home saved our lives today and that of our youngest grandchild. I was driving behind a line marker truck behind him was a safety utility with flashing lights to warn of the hold up, so far so good. We get to a very blind bend on our road and there is long line of traffic behind me. Then unbelievably the safety vehicle in front of me WAVED me to go past. I thought no way ,is he insane? Well YES he was because seconds later two cars and avan were rounding the corner, it would have been a terrible head on crash and am sure we would have been killed. However incredibly on the next bend ,he did it again.this man is supposed to be a traffic guy protecting us .Eventually they pulled into a side bit on the road. As I went past I opened the window and roared at him when I got to our road I saw the front vehicle. with flashing lights pulled over ,I pulled in behind her at the bus stop and went to speak to her and told her what happened and fortunately she had seen it and was speaking to the other driver. She is putting in a full report. She couldnt believe it either and said she had never seen anything like it in her 10 years on the job. I am going to follow it up with transport to make sure a report did go in .he should be sacked, just beggars belief
