Following on the back of the success of Channel 4s latest Bear - TopicsExpress

Following on the back of the success of Channel 4s latest Bear Grylls programme where 13 men have been plucked from various walks of life, to see if they can last a month on a deserted tropical island. A more ambitious plan has been tabled to take ten families from Chelsea and Kensington and place them on Tresco to see if they are able to survive a month without their live in Nanny. An even greater challenge to meet the unsuspecting families will be a ban on entering the Tresco Stores or any of the islands eateries. Social psychologists are worried that the lack of Iberico Bellota Sliced Ham, Himalayan Salt-aged Beef and Chateau du Nozet, Pouilly Fumé Baron de 2009 could drive the families to breaking point. Welfare groups are concerned that the children may end up foraging through bins outside the Ruin Beach Cafe in the hunt for spare scraps of Focaccia and Organic Swiss Brie and the lack of air miles in their diets and carbon friendly calories could cause irreversible damage. Filming is due to start in July though certain clauses within the non disclosure contracts are being amended to allow one internet order per week per family to cover essentials. This will include clothing parcels from Jack Wills for the kids and live video streaming with each familys personal trainer.
