Following quickly the National Arts and Humanities Youth Program Awards where WriteGirl received an award from Michelle Obama, now Founder Keren Taylor has been named a CNN Hero. Im so privileged to have gotten to know Keren through my work with Pacific Serenades, and to have learned about her fantastic program that helps girls find their voices in our urban landscape.
