Following the rebasing of its GDP from 1990 to 2010 Nigeria becomes Africas biggest economy and 26th in the globa l ranking table. Arguably there are still myriads of issues to be addressed in Nigeria but recently there have been some positive vibes coming out from the country. In spite of its current security challenges with the Boko Haram it is argued in some quarters that Nigeria appears well positioned to lead the African continent. Also in light of the recently held election in Ekiti State which was widely acclaimed to be free and fair it could be posited that Nigeria looks set to lead the continent as the biggest democracy in Africa. What do you think?
