Following the report in the media yesterday about the Care Quality Commission (CQC) report on the maternity unit at Whipps Cross Hospital; the MSLC has been liaising with the Waltham Forest Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) to discuss how we can work together in partnership with Whipps Cross Hospital to address the areas for improvement highlighted in the CQC report. The MSLC will also send a written correspondence to senior decision makers at Barts Health NHS Trust to highlight our concern about budget cuts and its effect on maternity staff and we, the service users.
