Following the success of GMP’s initial apprenticeship programme with Damar earlier this year we are delighted to announce a further 50 vacancies for apprentice Operational Support Officers across Greater Manchester. The apprentices will work alongside police officers and staff and receive training (from both Damar and GMP) to help develop skills in areas such as customer service, office administration and IT support. Applications are particularly welcomed from GM residents aged 18-24 currently not in education, employment or training. Apprentices are expected to start in post from December 2013.
