Following up on the Ner-A-Car photos, here is one I acquired many years ago. Its a clipped up print of Cannon Ball Baker when he rode a Ner-A-Car across the country in October of 1922. Its a shame the print got clipped up, it came from the Floyd Clymer Estate and apparently clipped for some reason. But I kept it anyway. For Ner-A-Car fans, it at least shows how Bakers classic signage as done for this ride. And I think the back side is about as interesting as the front. 7 days, 5 hrs, 28 minutes, and he rode coast to coast on 45 gallons of gas and 45 pints of oil.
