Following up on the numbers of female and male entrants, we noticed at least one other trend: males tend to enter two or three scripts in a year slightly more often than females. The difference isnt huge but it exists. Its also possible that the better male writers tend to enter more scripts each year than the better female writers. For instance, in 2014, three male entrants had three scripts advance to the quarterfinals; no female entrants did. Nine male entrants had two scripts advance; only two female entrants reached the quarters with two scripts.
