Following yesterdays release of official figures showing a rise in the number of animal experiments in the UK for the fourth consecutive year, AWP reminds our supporters that Andre Menache will be speaking on the topic of animal experimentation at the London Vegan Festival on Saturday August 17th. Andre will be speaking alongside Sophie Kennerley in his capacity as Scientific Consultant to the Anti-Vivisection Coalition. Andre is also Scientific Adviser to Animal Welfare Party and CEO of Antidote Europe. For many years British laboratories have held cowering animals for use in vicious experiments and now, the same as ever, the cruelty is just as hideous. Recent evidence shows primates being gassed in warfare tests, having their brains damaged in psychology experiments and the norm being to restrain these highly social animals for hours on end, whilst depriving them of food and water.
