Food For Thought (PART 1): Many times we hear statements like these: Africans are poor naturally, if you want to hide anything from an African, put it in a book, Africans are slow at thinking, Africans do not mind about the future, just give them some cash today, and many others.. It is also not rare to have black people in many movies act as hooligans, thieves, tyrants, while other people act as saviors, intelligent and nice... We have heard these things for so long that some of us have started to accept them..this is very unfortunate because they are not true. This was the plan of the devil to keep us lagging behind.. LET US REFUSE. If God is with us, (and He is) who can be against us?? but Hullo, when God was creating, in His mighty Power, He did not say Let us create these silly-backward black Africans.. God clearly said in GENESIS 1: 26-28 that Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground. And, So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And GOD BLESSED THEM, and God said unto them, BE FRUITFUL, and MULTIPLY, and REPLENISH the earth, and SUBDUE it: and HAVE DOMINION over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth... Period... Nothing more and nothing less.. that is it.. no black/ white/ brown/ chocolate, no beautiful/ugly, no tall/short, no munyankole/mukiga/muganda/musoga.. all those are just excuses or alibis to hide your ignorance.. Brothers & Sisters, there is nothing God said against any race as He created us, you have the same opportunities from God like any other person, regardless of their color.. you have the brain, senses, hands, blood, and above all the Holy Spirit..and actually, the next time you say I AM POOR.. remember that YOU ARE MOCKING GOD WHO CREATED YOU IN HIS OWN IMAGE, the owner of everything.. May we use this year 2014 as a year to arise and shine. To propel our talents into the good works that will be a blessing to all humanity so that all who will look at us will give glory to the Lord God for this wisdom. It is my prayer, also, that you will think and meditate about this message and accept the truth that God loves you. That He wants you to repent and move according to His Will for He has the best plans for you. Plans not to destroy you but to make you prosper in 2014.
