Food and Beverage Manager needed!!! Description Our Client is looking for a food and beverage manager to work in Wiltshire and regards this vacancy as one of the most important roles within the hotel. They are looking for the right person to fill the role and will not be rushed into making a hasty decision when interviewing potential candidates. Your main responsibilities as F&B Manager will be... to: • Recruit members of staff. • Ensure you maximise all staff and their potential. • Keep on top of staff appraisals . • Empower your team so they will be able to handle all guest feedback both positive and negative, also ensure they are able to deal with any level of complaint from customers in a correct and constructive manner. • To provide quality training and coaching for staff. • Ensure that the team are correctly uniformed, in line with Company Standards and understand the importance of personal hygiene and are punctual, polite, courteous and helpful to guests and colleagues at all times. • You must ensure that your staff comply with all the Company Health and Safety standards as well as Food Safety standards and aware of COSHH legislation. This will involve appropriate training and action when necessary. • All employee relation issues are dealt with both professionally and legally, in a fair and reasonable manner. • Keep team informed of all potential up sales. • Make sure all operational meetings within the hotel are being carried out. • To attend meetings and carry out agreed actions. • Work as a toastmaster when required for events and weddings • To ensure all standards are maintained throughout the entire Food and Beverage operation. • • To communicate and share knowledge with other hotel departments. • Keep on top of any department maintenance required. • Work within a budget. • Organise Purchases with Suppliers and present them with order numbers. • Monthly Stock Checks • Keep costs down by correctly storing equipment used regularly and all food. Skills and Qualifications In order to be successful in this position you will need a minimum of 2 year’s working experience within a similar role. You must excel in customer service, have a proven track record in achieving sales and be able to control wage costs. It is vital that you can push the business forward at the same time as developing the food and beverage team. Shifts and wages The hours as for all managers are dictated by the business needs. Usually working 5 days over 7 days including weekends with the 28 days annual leave. Our client is looking to pay 17k per year as well as also getting free membership of the leisure club following a three month probation period. You will also be provided with meals when on duty. Short term live in accommodation is available it is charged at £45.00 per week and is taken from your salary each month. They can offer this for three months but after that you will need to find your own accommodation.
