Food for Thought: After watching Get On Up, a James Brown biopic, - TopicsExpress

Food for Thought: After watching Get On Up, a James Brown biopic, I realized that had he not been arrested for stealing a suit, his successful music career may have not began. Then I thought about other people who suffered before success. For instance, Tyler Perry spent all of his resources and became homeless trying to promote one stage play. J.K Rowling was a divorced, unemployed, single mother on welfare before becoming a best selling author. Even Suze Orman went bankrupt before becoming a highly successful financial advisor. Sometimes when youre in your darkest hour, its hard to believe that the sun will shine again. If youre behind prison bars, or homeless and living out of a vehicle, or unemployed and finding it hard to take care of yourself and your children, or even bankrupt... it may be even more difficult to believe that the situation youre in is temporary. However, sometimes our darkest hour is just the launching pad for our greatest success. For those who revere the Bible, God promised that he would never flood the earth again to destroy it. For me, that is not just a literal promise, but it is a promise to earthly beings that He will never allow us to become flooded with adversity to where it kills/destroys us. Be Encouraged & Happy Sunday peeps ^_^ :*
