Food for Thought: Book of Hosea (in the Bible) God asked Hosea to marry the Harlot as He used their marriage to speak to the people of Israel about their ways and how they had wandered away from Him. God also used their marriage to show how He will restore Israel to Him in those days. Imagine if this took place in the current world, people would have had a lot to say to Hosea and his wife without thinking of what Gods purpose was or have an idea of what God was fulfilling. We need to learn to let people live their lives according to Gods Purpose and Will. God has predestined each of us and we live according to the destiny assigned. We should never have to worry much about what people will say when we know we are in Gods Will. No one can fulfill another persons destiny or purpose. Your strengths and weaknesses are needed to fulfill your purpose. In your weakness lies your strength to fulfill your purpose. Hosea had to endure and follow through as this would lead to him fulfilling his purpose. What is your purpose? Are you willing to let God take you through the path of fulfilling your purpose without wondering what others will think or say? May God continue to open our eyes of understanding. Have a blessed week! Kemi Sogunle™ 2014
