Food for thought: I started smoking when I was 18, pretty much a pack a day. I quit when I was pregnant or breastfeeding. So in a 12 year span I probably smoked a total of 5 years ( 3 years consecutive) . I have been seeing a cardiologist for an innocent heart murmur and to rule out artery damage due to thoracic outlet syndrome . Today I was cleared with great results except minor thickening of an artery DUE to smoking!!! Now I quit 12 years ago!! Imagine if I were to continue smoking what my arteries would look like. The point is,I am not here to tell you to quit, it is not my business to, but I can tell you in a short time of smoking what it can do to your body!
