Food is easy in Athens. There are newsstands on every corner selling snacks and drinks. I was going to have a nice dinner at the rooftop restaurant here at the hotel - but changed my mind when I got to the thirteenth floor. Evidently my hotel thinks that Michael Jacksons Thriller at top volume is the best accompaniment for dinner overlooking one of the oldest cultural centers in the world. I didnt even get off the elevator. Instead I opted to go easy at this little fast food joint that was around the corner on a dark quiet street. French Fries were good - Burger was edible. Not sure what meat it was made out of - but if it really was Beef - those Greek cows taste strange. If I eat here again Ill be having a chicken sandwich. Still, it was a real blessing to have such an easy option at the end of such a long, hard couple days.
