Foot has been cut open, drained and trimmed. Waiting to see how the healing process takes. Waiting for the blood sugar to stabalize and hold at a reasonable level. Gonna have to be in a wheel chair and crutches for a while. It looks like a zombie bit a mass chunk out of my foot. Hopefully home bound in a few days. Blood had started to fill the foot due to walking and being on my feet. Because the blood was underneath the tissue it was well hidden until it was too late. The tissue suffered necrosis and they had to cut and dig everything out. Infection led to high blood sugar and further complications. I want to post pics but they are pretty gnarly.
