Football Pokhara: Sangam Home Win BT 7-A-Side Cup. Sangam Home defeated hosts Buddha Tole 2-0 to lift the title of 8th BT 7-A-Side football tournament played in Pokhara on Saturday. The winning team fielded African players, Femi, Ibrahim, Victor, Bashir and Jean Roben. The winning team received Rs 60,000 while the runners up team got Rs 35,000. This is third 7-A-Side cup this season for Sangam Home. Earlier they won Sangam Cup & Mero Nepal Cup. 50 teams participated in the championship. Sangam A was declared the most disciplined team. Ganesh Pun of BT Yellow was adjudgedthe best player of the tournament. Femi received the best striker award, best defender award went to Anjan Devkota and the best midfielder of the tournament was Satish Bhandari of BT. Rakesh Gurung was the highest goal scorer of the tournament with six goals.
