Football players have the shortest careers of any professional athletes. A lifetime ban from the NFL is only a few years. Optimistically, it is five years for Ray Rice. If he wants to play that bad, he can go to Canada. Financially speaking, he doesnt have to work another day in his life. Im sure it hurts him not being able to play anymore BUT THATS HOW SERIOUS THIS ISSUE IS!!! So no, I dont feel bad for him in any way. I dont feel bad for CeeLo Green, DMX, Lamar Odom or any other celebrity who makes poor choices. This domestic violence discussion is not about Ray Rice.
