Football playoff pairings announced Sunday Liberty (9-1) finished ranked 3rd in the 4A North Region, behind Salem (10-0) and Jefferson Forest (10-0). Fauquier (5-5) finished tied for 12th with Dominion in 4A North. Dominion won the common opponent tiebreaker, since they beat Loudoun County and Fauquier lost to Loudoun County, so Dominion took the 12th spot and Fauquier the 13th. -Third seed Liberty (9-1) will host 14th seed Pulaski (5-5) next Friday night at Eagle Stadium in Bealeton in first round playoff action. The winner would likely play Sherando in the second round. -13th seed Fauquier (5-5) will make the long 3 1/2 to 4 hour trip to Danville, VA to play 4th seed George Washington (10-0). - Kettle Run (6-4) finished ranked 5th in the 3A East Region, so they will host 12th seed Petersburg (4-6) in Nokesville on Friday night.
